Like improvisation to music, I allow intuition and rhythm to overtake meJ.Jarville

Jeanette demonstrates a sophisticated use of color. She uses a restrained yet vibrant palette, blending muted tones with punctuations of bold, saturated colors. These accents guide the eye, create emotional contrast, and suggest movement or psychological tension. Her colors are intuitively placed and often layered to create depth and complexity. Regarding to shapes, Jeanette’s approach to form is gestural and organic. She doesn’t outline or isolate figures; rather, they emerge from the canvas through sweeping movements and energetic contours. Her shapes suggest bodies without locking them into clear representation, allowing fluidity, interpretation, and ambiguity. The composition is typically centrally focused, but disrupted by diagonal energy or fragmented contours that prevent stasis. This tension between focus and flow gives the work its dynamic character.
Texture plays a key role in Jeanette’s work. Her brushwork is energetic and expressive, often blending soft, smoky passages with sharper, more tactile strokes. There is evidence of layering, scraping, and reworking, which suggests a physical engagement with the surfaces. – Vera Kempf, Curator, Gallery Representative, Paris, France

“As you become comfortable with uncertainty, infinite possibilities open up in your life. It means fear is no longer a dominant factor in what you do and no longer prevents you from taking action to initiate change.”-Eckhart Tolle.

Infinite Possibilities

This exhibition showcases the dynamic world of abstract expressionism through the lens of mid-career artist Jeanette Jarville. Exploring the infinite possibilities of form, colour, and meaning, Jeanette continues to evolve and fearlessly search for new ways to express the inexpressible. Each piece serves as a journey into the subconscious, where instinct and technique converge to create powerful compositions and sophisticated colour palettes are inspired by nature, to evoke deep reflection. The artworks invite viewers to engage with the interplay of spontaneity and intention, where each mark guides the next, revealing a profound connection between abstract art and life. Here, the canvas becomes a playground for discovery, celebrating the limitless avenues of artistic expression, making the act of painting itself a part of the art. The outcome inspires imagination, emotion and discourse that transcends language, culture and time.
